The implementation of an Integrated Management System for Quality – Environment – Occupational Health and Safety was a strategic decision taken by LUKOIL Company’s management, with a view to obtain the confirmation on a market strongly influenced by an exponential increase of the demand and by a severe selection of the service providers.

The management policy statement sets the global targets concerning the quality – environment – occupational health and safety and represents a firm commitment of the top management to improve the company performance. (Annex )

The certification in 2007 of the Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001 international standard represents the official acknowledgement of our constant efforts to meet our customers’ requirements.

The purpose of observing the ISO 14001 Standard is to protect the environment and to prevent pollution, taking into account, at the same time, in a balanced manner, the social and economic needs.

As Romania is now a member of the European Union, the implementation of the European directives on environment protection, transposed in the European acquis, has become more and more important.

The company certification in accordance with OHSAS 8001 is intended to prove SC LUKOIL ROMANIA SRL’s capability to perform professional activities in a work environment that does not endanger the safety or health of its employees. Having this end in view, the principles of identification, evaluation and prevention of occupational diseases and accidents are fully complied with.
